Amreen is the Youth Team Lead at Eka. She is currently in the second year of her Masters.

An ardent believer in dialogue, Amreen is our go-to person in situations where we need clarity. A good listener, never the one to give leading advices, Amreen has worked her way from being a member of the adolescent girls group to being an efficient team lead over the past 7 years in Eka. She is interested in Gender Justice and Financial Empowerment of women. She leads the Jan Geet Samuh at Eka alongwith other team members and adolescent girls from the community

Nighat Khan is our Team Lead for Parwaaz – The Access to Justice unit at Eka. Nighat is a communicator to the core, enjoys playing the dafli and is a powerful jangeet singer. Her interests include Photography, Songs, Videography, facilitating participatory processes and counseling. She works with children and easily builds trust with the most marginalized groups. Nighat is currently in the first year of degree college.

Poonam Kaithal is Shakti personified! She effortlessly juggles time between her family, especially her toddler daughter Avani and her work with adolescent girls in urban poor communities. Much loved by the girls, Poonam is a good mobilizer and is able to build collectives of girls and youth.
